Aragil, Alford & Woerner select colleges

Viking seniors Arek Aragil, Ross Alford and Zack Woerner will play soccer next year at the college level. Alford will join former Viking Marko Tomljanovic at NCAA D2 Chestnut Hill (Pa.) Woerner will play at Haverford College (Pa.) where he received a full academic scholarship and Aragil will play at Kean University.

Ross Alford, Zack Woerner, Johnny Suarez & Edgar Martinez were selected to play in the CAL Senior All-Star Game. It will be held 7pm Mon. Nov. 19 at St. Augustine Prep. H.S.
Woerner (2nd Team), Martinez, Victor Valladarez and Brendan Layden (Honorable Mention) were named to the 2007 All-CAL teams.

10/15 AC 4 EHT 0 Victor Valladarez scored two and Lucas Levenson & Zack Woerner added one. Edgar Martinez got the shutout to keep the Vikings playoffs & championship hopes alive.
10/12 AC 1 Timber Creek 0 Lucas Levenson scores on an assist from Ross Alford in the 2nd OT to give AC the Cup Trophy. Edgar Martinez had 6 saves to earn his 3rd shutout.
10/11 AC 6 Holy Spirit 1 Johnny Suarez scored two and Sergio Rivera, Ross Alford, Lucas Levenson & Sariat Ullah added a goal. Zack Woerner had three assits.

Four ACHS Soccer Players Receive Scholarships

2007 Viking Senior soccer players Marko Tomljanovic, Bryon Mendoza, Brandon Weiner and Scott Kuma received scholarship money for college next year.
Tomljanovic received a scholarship to Chestnut Hill College (Pa.);
Mendoza received money from the Chartwells scholarship foundation; Weiner received money from both the Atlantic City Education Assoc. & Urban Scholars to be used at any college; Kuma received the Hanko Scholarship and will attend Rutgers next year.
Congratulations to them for their hard work on the field and classroom.
